Christopher’s Haven was founded to create and operate a home away from home for children being treated for cancer at the MassGeneral Hospital for Children and their families.

The Vision

Built on the model of the Ronald McDonald houses, Christopher’s Haven will provide a safe, hospitable and supportive environment for the young patients as well as their parents and siblings. Warm comfortable sitting rooms, game areas and reading spaces will provide a much-needed respite from the rigors and sterility of the hospital environment. Families will be able to stay for a nominal fee -- which will be waived for those unable to afford it.
