GUEST SPEAKER
Victoria Reggie Kennedy, wife of the late US Senator Edward M. Kennedy, will be our guest speaker. While Senator Kennedy was being treated by MassGeneral Hospital in Boston, Senator and Mrs. Kennedy met a number of families staying at Christopher’s Haven.
During a recent visit to Christopher’s Haven, Vicki Kennedy spoke with several mothers who shared their stories. The phrase “mother’s intuition” was the theme of the conversation as these young moms described to her how they fought to be taken seriously about their babies’ condition. “I just knew something was seriously wrong,” said Ginny about her nearly 1 year old David. “I knew it wasn’t just an ear infection.”
