Loss of a Friend
Below is a note about the passing of Richard Drinkwater, a true friend of Christopher's Haven. We met Richard in the summer of 2006 when we made the decision to lease an apartment near the hospital to start housing families one at a time. Richard, who was Senior Vice President at Otis & Ahearn Real Estate, personally took us to several apartments and helped us make the best selection decisions. He then quietly donated his commissions. He generously supported our galas and golf tournaments and in recent months was happy to celebrate the completion of Christopher's Haven and the dedication of The Loft community space. Our thoughts are with his partner Nancy and his family.

With a very saddened heart I regret to inform you that our beloved friend Richard passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2010.
Several months ago Richard was diagnosed with a life threatening illness. After weeks of treatment it appeared he was on his way to a full recovery. Just last week things took a dramatic turn for the worse and all medical options were exhausted. I am so sorry Richard left this world before his time, but I am grateful to tell you that he passed away peacefully with his family present.
We ask that you to keep his family in your prayers during this difficult time.
