Kevin and Kids Celebrate One Year
On October 31, Christopher's Haven celebrated one year of hosting families at a Halloween party at MGH with none other than Kevin Youkilis of the Red Sox!
Patients of the pediatric hematology-oncology clinic and the Proton Therapy Center went trick-or-treating with Kevin Youkilis and Christopher’s Haven (CH) in the Yawkey building this afternoon. CH, an organization that provides a home for many cancer patients and their families who come from a distance to be treated at MGH, will combine the Halloween event with their one year anniversary celebration.
The founder of CH, Dan Olsen, as well as the chief of the Pediatric Hematology-Oncology clinic at the MGH, Dr. Howard Weinstein, attended.

To date we have hosted 12 families. In the next ten days we will welcome our first international guests -- a family from Germany and a family from British Columbia.Christopher's Haven is proud to have been selected as one of the top 3 priority charities by the new Kevin Youkilis Hits for Kids foundation.
